Michelle's Steak Marinade

1/2 Stick of butter
Ground Black Pepper
Small onion - chopped
1 Clove of garlic -minced
Dry Red Wine - about a cup or two
Muchrooms-sliced (optional)
1-2 shallots - chopped
Bring wine mixture to a boil and simmer steaks about 3-5 minutes.
Remove from marinade and grill or broil as usual.
Make enough marinade depening on the amount of steaks you will be cooking.
Recipe may need to be increased.

Teriyaki Marinade

1 C. Soy sauce
1 1/2 - 1 1/4 C. Brown sugar
1 tsp. Oyster sauce
1 tsp. Mirin (sweet rice wine)
1 clove Chopped garlic
Grated fresh ginger
Mix all ingredients except meat. Stir and cook over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Cool.
Pour over meat and marinate for at least 1 hour.
Best when cooked over charcoal. Use remaining marinade for basting.
If you use the Quick Teriyaki Marinade, mix together and marinate meat for about 1/2 hour.
Best when meat is cooked over charcoal.
Baste often.

Delilah's Easy Chicken Marinade

8 pieces legs and/or thighs
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
Several cloves of garlic, smashed with the side of a knife
Seasoning salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper corns
Put all ingredients into a plastic zipper bag and throw in the fridge for a few hours.
Drizzle Newman's Own Italian dressing over chicken as it cooks on the grill.
