2 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Water
1/4 Teaspoon Anise extract
1 Teaspoon Vanilla extract or Vanilla Bean Extract
3 Drops yellow food coloring
1 Fifth vodka

Combine sugar and water in a pan and bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute and immediately reduce heat. Simmer for 1 hour or until thickened. Remove from heat and cool.

Pour sugar−water syrup into a sterilized quart−size bottle. Add anise extract, vanilla and food coloring. Stir gently and add the vodka.
Cover and let the mixture sit for 10 days to 2 weeks before serving.

St. Pat's Limeade

Ingredients
1 cup sugar
Juice from 12 fresh squeezed limes
6 cups cold water

Procedure
In a half-gallon jug, mix sugar, lime juice, and water. Serve over ice.
Makes 8 glasses.

CF Hot Chocolate Mix

Ingredients
4 Cups of DariFree Better Than Milk or Rice Moo
3/4 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 1/2 Cups Sugar (preferably vanilla sugar)
1/8 tsp Salt

Procedure
Combine all ingredients & store in an airtight container.

To use place 3 Tablespoons mix in a cup. Add a small amount of boiling water & stir to dissolve mix.

Fill cup rest of way with boiling water.

Candy Apple Punch

Ingredients
1 Tbsp. Cinnamon Sugar
1 1/2 C. Apple Cider
3 Tbsp. prepared Caramel Sauce
1 bottle Chilled Sparkling Cider
8 Maraschino Cherries for garnish
Lemon wedge
Procedure
Spread cinnamon sugar onto a small plate or saucer. Run a lemon wedge along the rim of 8 glasses; dip rims in cinnamon sugar. shake off excess.In a measuring cup stir together apple cider and caramel sauce. Divide evenly among glasses.

Pour sparkling cider into glasses dividing evenly.

Garnish each glass with a maraschino cherry.

Serve immediately.

Banana Milk Shake

Ingredients
Ice Cream (any flavor) 
Milk
Chocolate Syrup*
vanilla to taste
2 ripe bananas

Scoop ice cream into blender. Add milk, syrup*, vanilla, and banana.  Blend until smooth. Will be very thick.

*Variations: use strawberry syrup instead of chocolate. Add additional fruit or berries of your choice.

Hot Cocoa Mix

Ingredients
1 C. Non Dairy Creamer
1 C. Non -Fat Dry Milk
3/4 C. Sugar
1/2 C. Cocoa
Mini Marshmallows

Procedure
Mix together. Store in a air tight container

To Use: Add 3 Tbsp. cocoa mix to a mug of hot water.

** Mocha Flavor- Add 1/4 C. Instant Coffee to above & mix together

Harriettea's Emerald Punch

Ingredients
1 Lg Can Limeade frozen concentrate
1/4 C. Honey
1 Large Can Pineapple juice
1-2 liter Bottle ginger ale
Green Food coloring
Ice ring made ~~ with ginger ale or pineapple juice- garnish with maraschino cherries and pineapple.

Procedure
Mix all together in punch bowl.
May add sherbet if desired.

Fruit & Yogurt Swirl

Ingredients
1/2 cup unsweetened pineapple chunks chilled, drained and canned
1/2 cup unsweetened sliced peaches chilled, drained and canned
5 ice cubes
3 whole fresh strawberries caps removed
1 medium ripe banana frozen
8 ounces low-fat vanilla yogurt (1 carton)

Procedure
Combine all ingredients in container of an electric blender; cover and process until smooth.

Yield: 3 cups
