A&W Chili Dogs

1 Sabrett brand 2 ounce beef frankfurter (7 1/2" long)
1 regular hot dog roll
3 Tablespoons A&W Coney Island Sauce (see recipe below)
1 Tablespoon chopped white onion
1/2 Tablespoon Kraft shredded mild cheddar cheese (optional)

A&W Coney Island Chili Dog Sauce:
1 pound ground chuck
1 − 6 ounce can tomato paste
1 Cup water
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 Tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
1 Tablespoon dried, minced onion
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin (heaping)
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Chili Cheese Dogs- Tyler Florence

4 hot dogs
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
4 all beef hot dogs, about 1/2 pound
4 hot dog rolls
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar

To make the chili: Heat a skillet over medium flame and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. When the oil gets hazy, add the onion and cook, stirring, until they are soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.

Barbecue Bean Chili Dogs~Sandra Lee

Chili:
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
2 tablespoons chili seasoning
1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon yellow mustard

Hot Dogs:
4 all-beef hot dogs
4 hot dog buns
1/2 medium onion, chopped, for serving
In a large saucepan over low heat stir together the Barbecue sauce, beans, chili seasoning, brown sugar, and mustard. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
