Apple Dew

2 packages crescent rolls
2 Granny Smith apples
2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
1 tsp. vanilla
10-oz. Mountain Dew
Peel apples and slice itno 8 sections.
Separate crescent rolls and roll 1 apple slice in each.
Place in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Melt butter, add sugar and vanills; stir well and pour over rolls. Finally add Mountain Dew.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
This recipe is so easy, takes 10 minutes to prepare and can be baking while you are eating dinner.
Serve warm with a little ice cream on top!!

Apple Streusel Muffins/Bread

1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup shredded peeled tart apples
Streusel Topping:
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/3 cup chopped pecans
Directions
In large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg. In a small bowl, whisk the egg, milk and oil.

Taffy Apple Salad

1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple
4 cups miniature marshmallows
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
4-1/2 teaspoons cider vinegar
1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
3 cups diced unpeeled apples
1-1/2 cups lightly salted peanuts, coarsely chopped
Drain pineapple, reserving juice. In a large bowl, combine pineapple and marshmallows; cover and refrigerate for several hours.

Dutch Apple Muffins

2 medium apples, peeled, cored and coarsely chopped
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Topping:
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Batter:
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 large egg
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
Heat oven to 325F.
Grease and flour a 12-cup muffin tin or line with paper liners.
In a small bowl, mix apples, sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.

Baby Apple Bundts

2 apples, peeled, grated
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup coconut or vegetable oil, melted
1 tsp apple pie spice or cinnamon
2 eggs
1/2 tsp each baking powder, baking soda and salt
2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In bowl, whisk together flour, apple pie spice, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In separate bowl, beat oil and eggs 1 min. or until creamy. Add brown sugar and vanilla, beat 30 seconds.
Add flour mixture, beat 30 seconds. Stir in apples.

Apple Nut Squares

3 eggs
1-3/4 cups sugar
1 cup oil
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 cups diced peeled apples
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
In large bowl, beat eggs until light and thick. Add sugar and beat well. then stir in oil and vanilla.
Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon and stir into batter.
Then add apples and nuts.
Pour into greased 13x9" pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until cake is deep golden brown and pulls away from sides of pan. Cool completely.

Apple Fritter Rings

1 egg
2/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
Dash salt
5 large tart apples
1-1/2 cups vegetable oil
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
In a bowl, beat egg, milk and oil. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; stir into the egg mixture until smooth (batter will be thick).
Peel, core and cut apples into 1/2-in. rings.
In an electric skillet or deep-fat fryer, heat oil to 375°.
Dip apple rings into batter; fry, a few at a time, until golden brown.

Apple cake

1-1/2 cups flour
3 teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons shortening
1/2 cup milk
4 or 5 apples
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; add shortening and rub in very lightly; add milk slowly to make soft dough and mix.
Place on floured board and roll out 1/2-inch thick. Put into shallow greased pan. Wash, pare, core and cut apples into sections; press them into dough, sprinkle with sugar and dust with cinnamon.
Bake in moderate oven 30 minutes or until apples are tender and brown.
Serve warm with milk or cream.

Rasin Apple Crisp

2 tablespoon Flour
2 tablespoon margarine
1/8 teaspoon Salt
Wash, pare, core and slice apples thinly. Mix with raisins.
Place in a greased casserole Add cinnamon, salt, lemon juice and water Work sugar, flour and margarine (fat) together to form crumb like consistency
Spread over apple and raisin mixture
Bake in 380 degree oven for at least 30 minutes.

4 cup of Sliced Apples
1/3 cup All-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup oatmeal
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup butter or melted margarine
Salt as necessary
Put Sliced Apples in a baking pan and Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Combine all dry ingredients with butter or melted margarine and mix with a fork until crumbly.
Sprinkle all this over apples and bake at 350 degrees for at least 30 minutes
.

Spiced Apple Muffins

3 cups Flour
2 eggs, well beaten
4 teaspoons baking
1/4 cups milk
3 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup apples, chopped
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Mix together flour, baking powder, 3 tablespoons sugar, and salt. Cu tin shortening with a fork until mixture is very fine.
Stir in eggs and milk. Add apples. Spoon mixture into muffin tins.
Mix together 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.
Sprinkle cinnamon mixture on top of muffins.
Bake for 25 minutes.

Apple Fritters

2 C. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 C. milk
3 C. chopped apples (leave skin on)
Sift dry ingredients together. Beat eggs and add milk. Pour into dry ingredients.
Stir until batter is smooth. Chop apples.
Add apples and blend together.
Drop by spoonfuls into hot fat at 375 degrees.
Fry until golden brown, turn once.
Makes about 30 fritters.

Apple Nut Bread

2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 Tbs. dairy sour cream
1 cup chopped peeled apples
1 cup coarsely-chopped walnuts
Lightly grease 9x5 inch loaf pan and set aside. Beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla in large mixer bowl until light and fluffy. Sift flour with baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Add to egg mixture alternating with oil and sour cream and beating well after each addition.
Stir in apples and nuts and spoon into prepared pan.
